John Kerry's Concession Speech 2004

I choose John Kerry's Concession Speech from the 2004 election. He made his speech at his home town in Massachusetts. Most of his speech consists of thanks yous, thank yous, and more thank yous. He told his speech in a very mature and educated manor. He used good grammar with short sentences. I think this makes his speech very effective and to the point. He creates a lot of pathos with thanking them, as well as addressing everyone and telling them to hang in there. His ethos are obvious, as he is the loosing candidate from the election. They are also created by him saying things could not have been done with out all his family and his partner John Edwards. The logos are brought out more him excepting that Bush has won but he will still be there with the people. This speech, to me, is a very good speech and very caring. He is polite to Bush, his audience, his family, and his partner. He has excepted the results and says he will still be there to help all the people that helped him.
